One of the programs that St Vincent de Paul has in place is the Voucher Program. It is a unique program that sets us apart from all other charitable organizations. When a client approaches us for assistance they are refered to the nearest Conference. Here they are interviewed and their needs are assessed. This is then followed by a home visitation. The purpose of the visitation is to assess the real needs of the client and to see now St Vincent de Paul can help. A voucher is then issued. The voucher typically consists of household goods such as beds, dressers, T.V's, and other essential merchandise. The client would then present the voucher to the nearest store operated by St Vincent de Paul and the items would be given away free of charge.
